Am I the only who played this game? Why isn't anyone talking about it?It's massive. The map is huge. For sure the biggest map I've ever seen. The mechanics have some issues, but they're minor.Did anyone ever plays Baldurs Gate for the PS2? It reminds me of that, but with a bigger map. It's really fun.Why isn't anyone talking about this game?Sacred 2. It's pretty awesome.
I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!! One of my new favs!!!!!Sacred 2. It's pretty awesome.
i might pick it up when it gets a price cut. i love RPG's like those. what can you compare it too though? gameplay wise. Oblivion? Diablo? KOTOR?
I have it, and enjoy it. It is kinda boring by yourself after a while though, and people I play with online don't talk much. This reminds me of Balder's Gate for the Xbox, except your not confined in one little area, and that D%26D Heroes game. Except those games were mostly fun because of the co-op with my brother and father.
I'll be picking this up when the price drops, which shouldn't be too long :)
looks sick but i youst ordred prototype so in some months i gonna buy this
lets play sacred 2 online. level 14 , :D add me : boyyam
It's great if you're with your buddies but it's incredibly boring after levelling up 10 times on your own. makes me think it's what fable should have been.
I'm playing now and it's great fun. I think it got less coverage because it came out in the US about a month before anywhere else, and staggered release dates always screw up communities where so many people can't get it.
Huge gameworld with loads of quests, 5 difficulties, 6 characters, 2 campaigns - I'm gonna be busy playing this for quite a while :D
The game is massive and never has a shortage of things to do. I think I read somewhere that the world map was 3 times the size of Morrowind or something. It does have some issues on the 360 though. A bit buggy. The PC version is fairly polished now though. Good game.
i played the first one on pc and i was a bit leery of getting on 360. i might have to pick it up down the road.
I honestly don't care how big the map is, it is one of the ugliest games this gen imo, and very little voice over if any at all
are there any vids out for this? the pics look great looks like diablo and oblivion had a evil baby
I picked it up first day and i love it so far. I took a little break form it so my brother could catch up to my level though.
It's a good game that could have been great.Pros: multiplayer/co-op, tons of side quests/loot/armor/weapons etc., huge map to explore, six unique characters, wide variety of enemies/bosses.Cons: Why didn't they render the sky? The camera is annoying, the main quest storylines are poor, the map can be confusing and the controls for the 360 are a bit choppy.
if its anything like baulders gate im sold!!!!
I'd liken it to Baldurs Gate.
Yeah, dude its awesome! I just picked it up today at Best Buy after seeing a Classic Game Room review for it. Its incredibly underrated with the critics.

Is the sky that important when you can't see it?
I don't really mind the camera, top down feels kinda cool, like you're playing a happier looking Diablo. The map wasn't confusing for me at all either, and I'm only a few hours in. I have it on 360, doesn't feel choppy at all. I'd assume its better with the keyboard/mouse setup, however. My only complaints are the framerate, which goes about 30 FPS most the time (which you get used to, mind), some pop-up, and a lack-luster character selection.

[/QUOTE]Don't get me wrong, I like the game I've been playing it alot on the 360.Why couldn't they render the sky though, would it really have been that difficult? With the sky rendered the camera wouldn't always have to be top down, I've gotten used to it but I'd like to see whats out in front of me without having to zoom the camera way out. The controls on certain things like ranged weapons are choppy and sometimes i have trouble switching from one weapon to another. When I try to switch from a sword mapped to the A button to my energy gun mapped to the X button my sword gets stuck and I just keep swinging. Little problems like that prevent the game from being great. The map gets convaluted in certain places, I need the online Sacred Wiki map to find my around obstacles while trying to get from one place to another. The characters are unique but they could be customizable. The graphics and frame rate dont bother me at all.
