Sore Losers, lol

I Just got off a game of Halo 3 where some guy's team left him and his guest against 4 of us and afterwards he sent me a message saying ''IM ALWAYS #1 F*****!!!'' i wasnt really in the mood to think of anything original so i just replied with a ''lol, k'' :p Any of you guys had any complaints from any sore losers through text or voice? Did you respond?Sore Losers, lol
Ya, me and some friends were playing team tactical in Cod:Waw the other day against four British kids who were waaaay too young to be playing the game in the first place. We kept on winning and then the voice messages started rolling in, pretty hilarious stuff, and we never even spoke to them once (In a party) and never responded to the messages which caused even more angry messages.Sore Losers, lol
People always try and act badass online. I know it sounds lame but the easiest thing to do is just ignore them.
When anonymous people in online games message you like that, their entire goal is to make you as angry as they are, and to get attention. Deny them both, and you will INFURIATE them. Seriously, they will be boiling over, and you win, and they KNOW you win. A piece of their soul will die.
I've gotten many voice messages from people saying they'll rape me some awful racial slurs, and I'm a big white dude! WTF?!?
Do I respond to a message? A text I will, but never use derogatory words. If there's a voice message I delete it before listening.
Some people :PWhenever I'm losing, I'm usually talking to a friend while gaming, so I just b*tch and joke about it to him. No point in making more people angry here.
I think it's worse when there are sore winners... some people aren't content with just winning, they just have to pour salt on the wounds.
All the time on NHL 09. If you dominate them, prepare for a rude message saying you're a cheater and that they want to fight you. If you leave to play another game because you're down 5-0 (most times due to them using cheating goals) and there's no reason to stay, prepare for some insulting messages to come your way. I just report them and don't reply back. All they want is for you to acknowledge that you got their hateful message so they can get their jollies off thinking you were hurt by it. Plus what can you get from starting a war with someone online? Just end it with their first message and move on, it won't move past a verbal battle anyways.
i think its just abit of fun boys, i do it as abit of a joke get in to the other teamabit andwhen others do it to me i dont take it seriously so i think its the way u take it. Abit of friendly competition never hurt nobody
If it's a text message, I usually reply with some words that would rap around their heads 3 times buit have absolutely no relevance to the insult. But if it's a voice message I just ignore it.
The mute button's your friend. Most of the people that send these messages are the total opposite of what they make out, more than likely still in their mum's basement at the age of 30.
This is an example of a sore loser that made us laugh. I was playing Action Sack on Halo 3 recently with some friends and we totally dominated the other team. Keep in mind that no xp is given in action sack, so there is never any ranking up in the games. After the game a player on the other team accused all of us of boosting in Action Sack, taking the game too seriously, and he was going to report us to Bungie. We laughed for the next ten minutes and for the rest of the night accused each other of taking the game too seriously when we did well.
I get a fair few bit of rage feedback and hate messages from COD4. After a particularly good match someone messaged me saying ''Tell your mum I want my shirt back,'' off a kid who was about 12 anyway. It's just something you've got to endure I guess, there will always be a select few online who send out dodgy messages etc. Although the Halo 3 community got so bad I just gave up playing it.
The first time I play CoD WaW on my friend's PS3, I got ''go get a job''

No I did not reply because I don't know how to on the PS3.

I usually do pretty good on my own Xbox 360, but its the first time I play FPS on PS3, I got someone telling me to get a job.
What I don't understand is when you get stuff like that in your inbox and you report them (if it is really racist for example) MS still does nothing. I mean it is sitting on their servers to view/listen , it is not like they have to take my word for it.
the best way to combat sore losers, or just annoying idiots in general is to completely Ignore what they say. They will get extrememmly pissed off and know you won't respond back.
You ever think he was kidding? When showing that your a sore loser, you typically don't tell people they are always #1...
''lol host playr u suck'' on Gears 2.

I wasn't host. I didn't suck.
A couple of weeks ago I was play CoD4 on Ambush and got over 50 kills(don't quite remember) to about 15ish deaths, and the next closest was like 33 kills and some guy messaged me right after the game was over and all it said was,''you are the biggest noob i have ever played with''??? Sore feelings, perhaps, maybe instead of getting his feelings hurt he should just get better, its not like its a hard game to get decent at.
