If you still play Gears of War 2....

Ive got a question for you. Is getting into a game as horrible as it was in November? I was thinking about starting to get online again with it but dont even want to attempt it if its gonna take 10 minutes to get into a gameIf you still play Gears of War 2....
I'm not a hardcore Gears player and I don't own the game but I was playing with my friend a few weeks ago and we got into games pretty quick. I think they adjusted the issues but I could be wrong. If you still play Gears of War 2....

you'll usually find a match within a minute, atleast for me

I had the same problem with the game, but since the last major update, getting a game seems to take no more than a minute.
Gears 2's online portion has gotten A LOT better since November. Most of the glitches have been fixed, Smokes have been balanced out, playlists have been updates so that you get the game-type you want more oftne, math-making is faster, the lag has gotten considerably better and there is a new--better--rank system. If Gears 2 had launched like this it wouldn't have lost so many people such yourself and may still be a contender for #1 on LIVE. So to answer you question: Yes, Gears 2 has gotten considerablly better online.
I have no problem getting into a match at all...I'm playing as I sppeak lol.
i would say five minutes is the longest ive waited for a match in awhile, but usually its really fast idk if its like that for all the game modes as i only play annex

Works well for me. 5 Minutes is the most I've had to wait in about 5 months, and only that because people cancel the matchmaking mid-search.



It helps if you have more people with you, but me and 1 other friend seem to find a match in around 1 minute.

same here
takes me like 10-30 seconds to find a match
The problems were so bad i sold the game and i don't usually sell games unless their rubbish.

i didnt buy it in november so idk wut it used to b like. but fr me its pretty quick
there's an update coming, so it's just going to keep improving. plus new maps, new achievements and a new campaign chapter all coming soon. you gain experience while playing horde as well, so now there's even more reason to keep playing.it just sucks if you suck and i SUCK.
ok i was like you wanted play gears 2 when it came out but i heard so many problems but i just got the game about 2-3 weeks ago and those problems don't exist maby they fixed them but w/e i having fun get it
i have friends who play gears 2 so i usually meet up with them for a game.
