PC XBOX Online Play

Why is it that there isnt a joint xbox/pc multiplay area?PC XBOX Online Play
Some games have that compatibility, the first game being Shadowrun for Vista and 360.PC XBOX Online Play
i didnt know that, i will investigate that

But what about up coming games like MW2 or Dirt 2
From memory there were 3 games that offered PC vs 360 gaming.



Shadowrun was the first and is a FPS.



Not too sure on the others, but I think one was Universe at War which is an RTS.
Not sure about future games but I wouldn't see why not. They have the capabilies to do it. The only problem with something like MW2 is that it's a multiplatform game (XBOX360 and PS3 to name the main ones) and allowing someone to play cross platform woudl open up a can of worms. I guess that Microsoft could do that but then Infinity Ward would be neglecting the PS3 users who wanted to play with their PC friends and I don't think at this point they're willing to do that.
Yeah, its just shame because i have lots of pc friends.

I really liked Shadowrun and it has that capability
Final Fantasy XI allows PC and 360 players to play together as well. MMORPG.
