Need Forza 2 help...

So I burrowed FM2 from a friend and was excited to play it, as it recieved very high ratings and I usually don't play racing games. I was dismayed, however, at turning tight corners. I tried both LT and A, but I end up drifting off the road everytime, despite my abnormally slow speed when approaching the corners. Keep in mind I usually don't play racing games and don't have a game manual. Thanks for any help. :)Need Forza 2 help...
Uh just turn on all the assists and the suggested line. Follow the line, and brake when it starts to turn yellow.Need Forza 2 help...

What I suggest you do, is play the game with Braking Lines on for a few weeks, so you can get to grips with the way the cars control in the game. Its not like Need for Speed, where you can drift around corners at 130mph.Follow the basic principal, slow in and fast out. It is still one of the main principals, if not themainprincipal of modern day Formula One racing.Keep in mind, when your tyres make a screeching noise, and the car starts to slide off to one side, although it might look cool, it is NOT WHAT YOU WANT. When the tyre loses grip, it has to struggle to get a hold again. Its like when your drop something. You can't catch it at the same pressure you where holding it at, it would just slide straight through your hand.I can't highlight any more, that every car has a different braking ability, and a different acceleration ability. Weight is also a key factor. The heavier the car is, the less likely you are to lose grip, but when/if you do lose grip, you really have to struggle to get it back.I cannot highlight anymore that this really is the most realistic racing game to date.Good Luck.
I also recommend you don't hold A while you're cornering. The handbrakes main function is to stop the car as quickly as it can.

Useful if you're crashing into a barrier at 180km/h, but for cornering, its not needed. Makes the car lose grip, and when the car goes to turn, its nothing to hold onto, and just slides off the track.
Have a look at this as well mate, it explains some of the techniques you can use quite well, and has some other stuff that can help you.

Last question: Do I get more CR if I play on a higher difficulty?
