To xbox live or to not xbox live(poll)

I have recently got a 360 and was wondering if it was worth buying a wireless adaptor and a gold membership. You see my ps3 is online for free but I wish to play with my xbxo friends. Crrently I only have geow and I'm nearly finished it. If I get live I'll be able to afford one more game atm but if I don't I could get 4 or 5 so which option should I follow. I'm leanning mre towards the buy games side as 60 pound is a lot ot get online and \i can play cods etc on my ps3.To xbox live or to not xbox live(poll)

Which quite cheap games still have good online comminites. I know halo 3 does but is that too hardcore and I wouldn't buy the cod's as I have them on ps3
Its amazing, but i probably wouldn't suggest it if you have no friends who have it. The whole fun for me, is playing with my mates.

Nah, you definitly don't need to have friends to play online, you will meet tons of new people.

Yeah most of my friends do have it but most play cod waw which I have on ps3 and I wouldn't see the point in buying another copy.
You have pretty much answered your own question. But I say since you don't like halo and you have CoD on the ps3 the go buy games.
Why a wireless adapter? It is much better to go wired.
if u got real friends who u can play with on xbox live, GET IT! if not, still get it but only if u have decent xbox live games
I just cancelled my XBL gold for the first time since I've had a 360. I just don't play online - mostly a SP gamer. Figured its kind of a waste to spend the $$ if you don't use the MP features. So I cancelled and if I want it I'll just re-buy it. Don't think I will though.
If there is any way you can run a ethernet cable, I recommend that first.



Xbox Live is better than PSN, plan and simple. GEOW is GREAT online. Im assuming youre getting MW2 for the 360 and that game will also be great online. Pick up Halo 3 to play online at some point too
Xbox Live is pretty awesome. Worth the 50 bucks a year for sure. I pay by the month though. Haven't been billed in a few months. Rather odd. I ain't complaining though! My nephew made a new gamertag and got a years gold for free somehow. : / SOB

you'll be surprised how much more fun it is with friends :)

do it - it rips! ps3 network maybe free but have you seen what metal gear online charges for charecter models and upgrades? plus there are heaps of rippin games you can pick up pretty cheap for xbox - i recommend frontlines, it gets bagged outa bit but i love it! a bit more thinking and tactics than cod or halo and it runs its own 50 player servers! craps all over resistance

ok TC, you went on the xbox 360 forums asking wether you should get live or not. What do you think the answer is going to be? NO?. Maybe your just really really bored. If you have a 360, you need live...that is mostly the point of buying one in the first place.
Xbox Live IMO is prob. the best online community out there
