Buying a new Xbox (without hard drive) i ...

Should I do it? And is it even possible to buy an Xbox 360 without a hard drive (in order to lower the price)?

Over a month ago I got one red flashing light, but trying to get it repaired seems to have been more trouble than it's worth:

I'm out of the warranty

The registering part of the site won't accept my UK post-code

There aren't enough spaces for my phone number

The support feature of the site is useless

What should I do? Buy a new Xbox or brave it with the repairing process?

Any help would be appreciated.

well, IMO, after send it in the give you a refurbrished 360 that will break again in 2 months or so. so if you can't get the repair, buy an arcade and keep your HDD and sell the old one. but whatever you wanna do lolBuying a new Xbox (without hard drive) i ...
but keep this in mind. one red ring isn't that bad. it's happened to me lots of times. just take out the HDD for about 10 seconds or so and put it back in. then it works again.
similar thing happened to me. what i did was i bought an arcade, kept my hard drive and sold the broken 360.
phone up ms, tell them you got 3 reds and they will fix it unwittingly, it worked for me when i had e74 out of warranty before they decided to cough up and fix them free,

my friends have done the same for e74 and broken dvd drives out of warranty, one friend had 2 reds. the only check on fault to warranty acceptance of free repair is the initial phone call, if you pass that then you will get it fixed or replaced. all i did when i got e74, was buy a arcade for while my xbox was getting fixed (thought it would take a month, was only 2 weeks thats the average time now) and they fixed it, apparantly when it gets to the service centre they run a full diagnostics program on it for 45 mins it said on the letter i got with my repaired xbox. and any faults that come up they will replace the parts. for my e74, they replaced the dvd drive, the gpu and mother board. they also gave me a one month xbox live card as well.

i got my xbox back and sold it to my brother, as it had no hdmi in my old premium and the arcade did. so i gave him the memory card and repaired xbox. its worth sending back. and i used my works address which was a new build only a few months old the building and the website also never reconised the post code but phoning them up they managed to track it down for ups to collect it. took 2 weeks. i say its worth it., and just tell them you got 3 red flashing lights, all they asked me after telling me to turn it on was what colour was the light on the power brick, the answer was green and the people on the other end said ok its covered for warranty for 3 reds we will fix it free. and emailed me a ups label out, i phoned ups and arranged for them to pick it up.

go for it. and buy a arcade if ur going to anyways, this way you will have a xbox to sell once it comes back which will cover most of the cost of an arcade i reckon
i think this is the phone number 0800 587 1102 you can register ur xbox over the phone at same time of reporting the fault.

say 3 red lights, i promise you wont be disapointed, id do that even if ur going to buy one in the mean time. im sure asda or tesco had a advert in the sun yesterday saying xbox arcade for only 99.99pounds sure it was asda like
