I do have friends that have had multiple issues though. Guess I am lucky.

mine was made in december of 2005 and i have never had problems either, i am the same way its very well ventilated my power brick is also off the ground actuall sits on my subwoofer from my surround sound system and its run like a champ every since

Mine has been perfect. Had two or three freeze-ups on Oblivion, but had WAAYY too many saves. Once I deleted some saves and cleared the cache, smooth sailing. That being said, I'll probably go home tonight, turn it on, and it'll blow up in my face......
Ive had mine since release. It had one hasle free trip to microsoft for repairs.
I have had mine since launch with no problems at all.
My launch system has passed away twice.
i was number 5 in line at walmart in my town, and my 360 was an october 05 production and i have never had to send it in( just the occasional disc read error) but everything else works great:D i love my 360:D
