Does eternal sonata pick up in gameplay and story? Im about 4hours in or maybe more and im not hating it, but the super corny storyline and japanese voices are pissing me off. Not much depth in the gameplay yet either. Currently at party level 3 for reference.Eternal Sonato does it get better?

The story is not one of the strong points of the game, but the battle system is awesome. If you can get through the story (which is kinda cute, but not that great) and enjoy the battle system, then things should look up.

It's one of my favorite RPG's this gen solely because of the battle system, the wonderful visuals and sound, and the ambiance of the game in general. The story is a little poorly put together though.
Yeah, the story sucked. Try Tales of Vesperia, I think most people will agree that it is quite a bit better than eternal sonata.
no, it only gets more boring and repetitive the more you play it
