Good idea.
Yep they want your info and all. Obviously don't give it to them, then contact MS and tell them like Pittfan said.
Do I need the gamertag of the person who asked me? I deleted the message.
Well, credit card fraud is possible from basically anything that involves a credit card mate, and unfortunately hackers find ways around new security advancements. We advance our security, they advance their technology. Scumbags. You have to be careful with things involving credit cards, now more than ever.
Thats not to say you are being theived.
Heard this being done, in a more subtle way, like for example posting a video on youtube by giving someone a profile with a lvl 50 halo account in exchange for Microsoft points on your profile, then use your credit card details on your profile to raid Microsoft points, there is a limit, not sure what it is but it is alot of cash.
Call Microsoft and alert them of your problem
I'd be safe and call Microsoft. I doubtyou have anything to worry about, but better safe than sorry! :D
Most account hackers on XBL like to hack into accounts that have credit card info. The reason they want those with info is because they are more valuable than any old gamertag. They don't buy anything with it, they just hack your account and hope your too lazy to call and cancel your card or whatever so they try to sell itback to you.I'm not a hacker but over on the MLG forums it's being discussed about how a lot of people are having their accounts hacked
hey can you tell me your number? its for safe keeping XD :P
