Mass Effect is an excellent game with a great story, great characters, fantastic voices, and just a top notch RPG that actually let you decide what happens in it.Lost odyssey is an excellent old school JRPG with a long story, great characters, excellent voice work for a JRPG, dreams are well written and pretty emotional, great boss battles, and etc.best rpg you've played
Well since I can't say Fallout 3 I would have to say Mass Effect.Fable 2 and Jade Empire tied for 2nd. Well I guess Jade wouldn't count because that was original xbox.Oblivion for 3rd. Yes i'm one of those guys that liked Morrowind better. Oblivion has it's pros, but there just isn't that much variety in the game. ''As far as the places you explore go I mean''.
I was looking for a new RPG after Fallout 3 and am currently looking at Bioshock or Mass Effect. Any suggestions?

I really have to say it's best if you play both. They're both some of the best games the 360 currently has, and 99% of the time they don't disappoint.
If you have to chose only one, Mass Effect has a higher replay value, even though BioShock has one of the best storylines ever made.

Get both :P bioshock isnt a rpg btw, you can add some sweet stuff to your character but its still an fps, and a great fps ;)
besides Fallout 3 and Oblivion, it would be a hard choice between Tales of Vesperia and Lost Odyssey.Im gonna say Tales of Vesperia =]

I actually like Mass Effect better than both of those games. Lost Odyssey is also an excellent game.

Tales Of Vespria is an excellent choice it is my second favorite RPG on the Xbox 360.
Tales of Vesperia is the best for me on the 360, followed closely by Fallout 3.Lost Odyssey was good as well. I'm currently playing Mass Effect.

two worlds? You cant be serious. I hated that game, but I suppose to each his own. Sacred 2 has its merits, but I found that with it lacking a storyline and its repetitive and monotonous combat, I just couldnt get into it. I would further recommend Mass Effect and Tales of Vesperia. The storyline in Tales will keep you going, but Mass Effect excels in almost every aspect. I have played Mass Effect through twice and I am now on my third run. It's such a good game.
