I really havn't been able to get into the Halo series. I played little bits of the first 2, and completed the 3rd. What with ODST coming out and Reach next year, i was wondering if it does have a decent story to follow, aswell as all the books.Does Halo have a good Storyline?
Well the story is nothing to rave about but the story is pretty good.
But don't expect the story of a great RPG or anything since story and character development are only secondary in the halo series.Does Halo have a good Storyline?
It's a pretty good action movie story.
i dont think any FPS has a 'great' story, RPGs are for that. but in terms of FPS, its pretty decent

The Darkness says hi. Many FPS feature great storyllnes just because a game falls into a certain genre does not mean it cant have a great storyline.
i think it does
I like the story, especially if you read the books to supplement it.
the story is decent it's not that much of an awesome story but it's good
It's not a storyline to die for , and it's not a terrible storyline . It's alright , well , i enjoyed it (:
Yeah, I think the storyline in Halo is interesting enough. Some people turn into ****ing drama critics when it comes to bashing games they don't care for.
I thought it was good for a shooter if you actually watched the cutscenes, but the books are the most enjoyable part of Halo's story (except The Flood).

well on an overall standard its decent but for a first person shooter its top notch
Sucks, just like 90% of all videogame's stories.

I just wish that Bungie would really drive the story as fra as the Halo books did . . .

you are wrong! :P this is just my opinion but I loved the first encounter with the flood and the library mission.
and on topic, for an fps the story is very good.
My favorite is still Halo CE. The overall universe of halo is really deep and interesting if you get into the books.
The story is pretty good. I loved the story in the games, and I am currently reading the books and they are great. They help fill u in on all the details before the three halo games, and Halo Wars helps with that as well.
