or at least something around 350GB...Any chance that MS will release a 500GB ...

Not likely. 120 seems to be more than sufficient for most people.Any chance that MS will release a 500GB ...
dang that would be crazyy
I dunno they might do something like that but good god think of how much they would want for it lol.
$700 for a hard drive? No thanks.
I don't see why they would. Most people find it hard to fill thier 120GB ones now.
I don't see why they would. Most people find it hard to fill thier 120GB ones now.
Not with being able to install games now. 15 games would fill it up. Or 10 games and a lot of addons.
They should release a 250gb one IMO to replace the 120gb, and make the 120gb the 60gb price tag, and 250gb the 120gb price tag... would be alot more justified.
Well with E3 confirming MS plan to support the 360 for 10 years, and that downloading entire games is planned, I can see MS pushing a larger harddrive

120GB is too much imo but it's great from demos videos etc.

True but most people delete their old videos etc but a bigger HDD will be needed in the future.
I dunno they might do something like that but good god think of how much they would want for it lol.
Probably so expensive that only Bill himself would be able to own one, and then declare himself bankrupt... and then shoot himself for buying such overpriced gigs

500GB external hard-drives don't cost that much these days ($700.00 dollars is a little steep)
500GB external hard-drives don't cost that much these days ($700.00 dollars is a little steep)
it is m$ were talking about here. They don't know the meaning of well priced xbox 360 accesories
I know...I lost my head there for a minute.
I doubt since it takes (not including multiple disc games) around 20+ games to fill up your harrdrive with installs. If the average for games per 360 owner goes up, then I'd expect they jump it up to 200-240 but that'd be the most.
Not that this has anything to do with the PS3 but the reason the PS3 has such big harddrives because game installs are mandatory. For the 360. I have 120gb and I play a lot of games with tons of arcades games, demos, download content, and 6 DVDs installed and I still have over 50gb. I think 120gb is plenty as long as you don't have to install every game.

not every PS3 game has a mandatory install. it all depends on the content you put on the harddrive. if all u have on your HD is games and add-ons/dlc then you should be fine. it's when you pack it with all the other useless crap that you run into troubles. i have a 160gb PS3 and i've just got games and Home on it, and still have more than enough space left. it's the knuckle-heads who upgrade their machines to outrageously high GB/HD or the ones who fill their HDs with too much stuff that want MS or Sony to make larger HD machines so they don't have to do it themselves
what the hell would u need 500GB for?
